Donald Trump All Of A Sudden Wants To Talk To Joe Biden For This Reason

President Donald Trump has a habit of finding ways to keep the cameras and the microphones on him during the daily briefings, which are supposed to be about the coronavirus pandemic that has now killed over 4000 Americans and infected more than 200,000 others.

Trump has once more managed to make headlines by revealing that he would not mind talking to former Vice President Joe Biden.

On Wednesday, the former reality TV star turned politician said he would “absolutely” take a phone call from the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

Trump said he would speak to Barack Obama’s former vice president about the spread of the deadly virus. Trump had this to say: “Oh, absolutely. I’d love to speak to him. I always found him to be a nice guy.”

Many reporters were quick to say that Trump has a nasty habit of calling Biden “sleepy Joe,” and attempted to get foreign leaders to investigate him and his son, Hunter.

Trump has called the Obama/Biden administration corrupt and blamed it for the lack of medical equipment.

Trump tweeted: “For decades the @CDCgov looked at, and studied its testing system, but did nothing about it. It would always be inadequate and slow for a large scale pandemic, but a pandemic would never happen, they hoped. President Obama made changes that only complicated things further.”

The Biden campaign has offered to call Trump and talk about how best to combat the pandemic.

Biden’s deputy campaign manager, Kate Bedingfield, said in a statement: “Vice President Biden has been extending his advice for months, and he did so again on the air last night. As he has said repeatedly, Donald Trump is not accountable for coronavirus itself — but he is accountable for the federal government’s slow and chaotic response to this outbreak.”

Biden has slammed Trump for mishandling of the coronavirus response, which prompted White House counselor Kellyanne Conway to criticize him for not offering his help.

Conway said on Fox & Friends: “I think it’s really disappointing to have President Obama’s number two, who apparently doesn’t talk much to him, out there criticizing instead of saying, hey, here’s what we did that we thought was effective.”

She added: “Why doesn’t Vice President Biden call the White House today and offer some support? He’s in his bunker in Wilmington, and I have to tell you we’re not talking about politics here at the White House at all. We’re talking about ventilators and vaccines, not Biden and Bernie.”
